Sympathy Nervous, born Yoshifumi Niinuma in 1955, is a musician and Theremin maker. He developed an early interest in classical music and electronic handicraft, which led him to discover German Experimental Rock and embark on his musical journey. In 1980, he recorded his debut song "Polaroid" in the living room of a Tokyo apartment, featuring his brother on vocals, and released it through the Japanese label Vanity Records. In the 1990s, he transitioned to a focus on TECHNO music.
