Edwin van der Laag, known by his alias Syntech, is a graphic artist renowned for designing all Laserdance record covers. He transitioned into music creation, utilizing an Atari ST, Cubase, and a selection of synthesizers to produce his initial tracks. His work later received support from Huib Shippers, who is recognized for his involvement in the Trilithon project.
