Syreeta was an American singer, songwriter, and recording artist born on August 3, 1946, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She was signed to a record label and had a career in music until her passing on July 6, 2004, in Los Angeles, California, due to heart failure related to cancer treatment, at the age of 57. Syreeta was married from 1970 until 1972, and she had a subsequent marriage that was also short-lived.
