T-Connection was a Bahamian funk and disco band formed in Nassau in 1975 by brothers Theophilus “T” Coakley and Kirkwood Coakley. Blending infectious grooves, soulful vocals, and Caribbean flair, they became known for dance classics like “Do What You Wanna Do” and “At Midnight.” Signed to TK Records, T-Connection achieved success on both R&B and dance charts through the late 1970s and early 1980s. Their tight musicianship and rhythmic innovation secured their standing as pioneers of Caribbean-infused funk and an enduring influence in dance music.
