Tami Lynn was an American soul singer born on January 25, 1939, in New Orleans, Louisiana. She grew up singing gospel music and was discovered in the early 1960s by a bandleader. In addition to her own music releases, Lynn also provided backup vocals on various recordings. She passed away on June 26, 2020, in New Port Richey, Florida.
