Tanika Charles is a Canadian Neo Soul singer born in 1987 in Toronto, Canada. She released her full-length debut album, "Soul Run," in 2016. Originally based in Edmonton, Alberta, Charles moved to Toronto in the late 2000s after receiving an opportunity to sing backing vocals for Bedouin Soundclash.
