Taproot is a four-piece Nu Metal band hailing from Ann Arbor, Michigan. Since their inception, they have released nine albums and gained recognition for their hit single "Poem" from their second album, "Welcome," which became the #5 Most Played Rock Track in 2002. The band has produced several other hit singles from their albums spanning from 2000 to the present. The current lineup of Taproot includes Stephen Richards on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Jarrod Montague on drums and backing vocals, Phil Lipscomb on bass, and Taylor Robers on lead guitar.
