Taucher is a German DJ who has been active since 1991. His name translates to "Diver" in English, reflecting his unique stage presence. He is known for his eclectic performances at the Fernmeldeturm club in Mannheim, where he has captivated audiences with his unusual antics, including appearing as a scuba diver, wearing a wedding dress, performing amateur ballet, and even deejaying upside down. Taucher gained international recognition with his remix of "Ayla," which became a club hit in Europe. He has also remixed tracks for notable artists such as Culture Beat, Faithless, Robert Miles, and Cherry Moon Trax. His 1999 compilation, "Life Is A Remix," saw significant success, and his live album, "Live at Webster Hall" in New York City, peaked at #43 on the US Billboard Heatseekers chart in 2000.
