Taylor McFerrin is an American DJ, music producer, and musician based in Brooklyn, NY, born on June 29th. He is the oldest son of renowned musician Bobby McFerrin. Taylor is known for his work in jazz, soul, and electronic music. His first recorded appearance was as a background singer on “Jubilee,” a track from his father's 1982 debut album. In 2014, he released his debut album, ‘Early Riser,’ on Flying Lotus’ Brainfeeder imprint, featuring guest appearances from Nai Palm (Hiatus Kaiyote), Thundercat, Robert Glasper, Cesar Mariano, Marcus Gilmore, and, in a nod to the past, his father Bobby McFerrin.
