Natalie "Tusia" Beridze (b. March 28, 1979, Tbilisi) is a Georgian experimental electronic music composer, songwriter, and producer, known for her innovative contributions to the music scene. Initially starting her artistic career in the early 2000s by creating short films and music videos, she gained recognition with her video for the song "Game" in 2001, which won the 2nd prize at the Internationale Kurzfilmtage Oberhausen festival. Beridze has been a prominent member of an open artist collective and the Georgian creative laboratory Goslab. She teaches songwriting and music production at the Creative Education Studio-CES and is represented by the agency Media Loca. After relocating to Cologne, Germany, in 2002, she adopted the alias TBA, which means "Lake" in Georgian and also stands for "to-be-announced" in English. Her debut album as TBA was released in 2003, followed by several successful projects that established her as the first female Georgian electronic musician to gain widespread recognition in Europe. Throughout her career, Beridze has released 11 full-length albums, including an ambitious trilogy inspired by "Alice in Wonderland" and collaborations with renowned artists. She has composed soundtracks for various films and has had her piano compositions performed by notable musicians. Her most recent work was published by a renowned Australian ambient label in July 2022.
