T-Bone Walker, born on May 28, 1910, in Linden, Texas, was an influential American blues guitarist, singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. He began his recording career in 1929 and was among the pioneers of electric guitar use in the 1930s. Walker is best known for his 1947 hit "(They Call It) Stormy Monday." He passed away on March 16, 1975, in Los Angeles, California, and was posthumously inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1987 as an Early Influence.
