T.D.S. Mob is a hip hop trio from Boston, MA, consisting of DJ Dev, DJ Michael K, and Kool Gee, who later became known as Cool Gzus. They made their mark in the late 1980s with two 12" releases through Race Records: "Dope For The Folks/Crushin' Em" in 1988 and "What's This World Coming To" in 1989. The seven songs they released are considered Boston old school classics. Notably, T.D.S. Mob was the first rap act from Boston to have a video clip played on national television, a milestone recognized by Ed O.G.
