Technasia is a musician and DJ based in Paris, originally formed in 1996 by Charles and Amil, who met in Hong Kong during the 90s. Their goal was to bring South East Asia to the forefront of electronic dance music. The duo gained recognition over the years with acclaimed tracks such as 'Oxide', '2 The Floor', 'Descent', 'Future Mix', 'Hydra', 'Force', and 'Final Quadrant', as well as two albums, ‘Future Mix’ and ‘Popsoda’, and several DJ mix CDs. Influenced by early electronic sounds, Technasia has become known for Charles’ impressive DJ sets and live performances, playing at numerous top electronic music festivals, events, and clubs worldwide. They have held residencies at renowned venues like Womb in Tokyo, Fuse in Brussels, Nitsa in Barcelona, and Rex Club in Paris. In addition to their music, Charles and Amil have expanded their activities to include artist production and label management through their label Sino, working with various artists. In 2008, Amil decided to leave the duo to focus on raising his child but continues to contribute significantly to label and artist management. Charles now remains the sole member of Technasia.
