Techniques is a Jamaican vocal group formed in 1962. The initial line-up included several members, and they released their first single, "No One," in the UK in 1963. Their Jamaican debut came in 1965 with a notable producer. One member left the group in 1966 to pursue a solo career at Studio One and later formed another group. This member was replaced, and the group's lineup changed regularly, with Riley being the only constant member. Other members in the late 1960s included various artists.
