Roosevelt "Ted" Cash, known as Teddy Cash, was born on November 5, 1942, in Minter City, Mississippi. He passed away on January 1, 2009, in Las Vegas, Nevada, at the age of 66. From a young age, Ted traveled across the USA with his parents and grandmother, singing gospel music. He served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War for seven years, where he held a Top-Secret Security Clearance and was awarded the Bronze Star among other medals. Ted was passionate about music, inspired by his love for God and America, and he pursued a career as a performer, writer, and composer, releasing eight published CDs. His album "Big Boss Man Sings the Blues" received a nomination for "Rhythm & Blues Album of the Year" at the Nashville Music Awards, and his CDs achieved Top-40 status in ten countries. In 1999, Ted and his wife Aneita moved to Las Vegas, where he enjoyed significant success performing in major showrooms along the Las Vegas Strip.
