Teddy Chisi was a Zambian soul and funk singer who gained popularity in the 1970s. Known as "the Singing Accountant" due to his profession as an accountant in Kitwe, Chisi's musical style combined funk and soul with the popular Zamrock genre of the time. He performed in the cabaret circuit of the Copperbelt and collaborated with various Zamrock bands, with The Fireballs serving as his backing band for several albums and live performances. Throughout his career, Chisi released three albums and multiple singles. However, he left the Zambian music industry in the early 1980s as the country's economy declined and the Zamrock era came to an end.
