Telectu is a Portuguese avant-garde and experimental electronics duo formed in 1982. The group consists of a member who plays synths and is a writer, critic, and former jazz drummer associated with the free jazz scene, and another member who plays guitars and synth guitars, and is a founding member of a pop/rock band established in 1980. They released several records until 2003. After a period working with António Duarte, Telectu was revitalized in 2019 by Vitor Rua, who brought in Ilda Teresa de Castro as a new member for live performances. The duo released a new live album in 2020.
