Telefon Tel Aviv is an electronic music duo formed in 1999 in New Orleans. They gained recognition after signing with Chicago's Hefty Records, releasing their acclaimed debut album in the fall of 2001. The duo also contributed to the score for the 2001 film "New Port South." Their second album, "Map Of What Is Effortless," was released in January 2004. Tragically, Charlie Cooper passed away on January 22, 2009.
