Temple Sun was a French psychedelic jazz and progressive band formed in Toulon in 1971. The band experienced several line-up changes before playing their first live concert in 1974 in Châteauvallon, where they opened for Wapassou. They later opened for the renowned band Magma in 1977 and primarily toured in the South of France, sharing stages with acts such as Ange, Soft Machine, and Carpe Diem. In addition to releasing a 7" single in 1979, Temple Sun also produced the music for the documentary film "Marshio, Megapolis Micropoles," which focused on the city of Marseille and was released on LP in 2016. The band is believed to have disbanded around 1980.
