Ten Walls, born on January 19, 1983, is a Lithuanian DJ and producer known for his classical music education, having studied bassoon at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre in Vilnius and music technology at Kaunas University of Technology. He gained international recognition in September 2014 with his UK top 10 hit "Walking With Elephants." However, in June 2015, he faced controversy due to an anti-gay rant on Facebook, which led to several festivals dropping him from their line-ups and the cancellation of his single "Sparta." After issuing a formal apology, he resumed releasing music in 2016, with his first post-controversy single "Shining" being released through Lithuania's national LGBT rights organization and featuring transgender singer Alex Radford. Despite his efforts, he continues to receive criticism at certain events and festivals. Ten Walls operates his own music labels, active from 2014-2015 and from 2016 to the present.
