Tennor Saw, born in 1966, was a prominent figure in the first wave of digital dancehall music. He gained fame for his hit "Ring The Alarm," which was a version of the popular "Stalag" riddim and became the biggest reggae hit of 1985. Unfortunately, Saw's career was short-lived, lasting only three years. He was found deceased by the side of the road outside Houston in August 1988, possibly the victim of a hit-and-run incident.
