Real Name: Tenor Saw Born: 1966 Died: August 1988 Tenor Saw was a prominent figure in the first wave of digital dancehall music. He is best known for his hit song "Ring The Alarm," which was a version of the popular "Stalag" riddim and became the biggest reggae hit of 1985. Despite his brief career, which lasted only three years, Saw left a lasting impact on the genre. Tragically, his life was cut short when his body was found at the side of the road outside Houston, possibly a victim of a hit and run, in August 1988.
