Tetsu Yamauchi (山内 テツ, Yamauchi Tetsu; October 21, 1946 – December 4, 2025) was a Japanese musician known for his contributions to rock music in the 1970s. He was a member of several notable bands, including Free, where he succeeded original bassist Andy Fraser for the band's final album, "Heartbreaker." Additionally, he joined Faces, replacing Ronnie Lane, and participated in the band's last single, "You Can Make Me Dance, Sing or Anything," as well as touring with them and contributing to the live album "Coast to Coast: Overture and Beginners." Throughout his career, Yamauchi recorded various solo albums and worked extensively as a session musician before retiring from music in the late 1990s.
