The Snakes are a British-Norwegian hard rock band formed in 1997 by former Whitesnake guitarists Bernie Marsden and Micky Moody. The lineup included Norwegian vocalist Jørn Lande, bassist Sid Ringsby, and drummer Willy Bendiksen. They released a studio album, "Once Bitten..." in 1998, produced by TNT guitarist Ronni Le Tekrø, and a live album, "Live in Europe," the same year. The Snakes disbanded in 1999.
