The Uniques were a prominent American rock band from Louisiana, active between 1965 and 1970. Led by Joe Stampley on keyboards and vocals, the lineup included Bobby Stampley (bass), Ray Mills (lead guitar), Mike Love (drums), and Jim Woodfield (guitar). The members met while attending Southern State College (now Southern Arkansas University) in Magnolia, Arkansas, and formed the band. They recorded most of their material at Robin Hood Studios in Tyler, Texas, releasing it through Paula Records of Shreveport, Louisiana. Their signature hits, "Not Too Long Ago" and "All These Things," showcased their blend of rock and soul influences. In 2010, The Uniques were honored with induction into the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame during their 45th-anniversary reunion concert in Springhill, Louisiana.
