The Ace Of Cups was an American rock band formed in San Francisco in 1967, known for being one of the first all-female rock bands. The group disbanded in 1972. The lineup consisted of Mary Gannon on bass, Marilyn/Marla Hunt on organ and piano, Denise Kaufman (also known as Denise Jewkes) on guitar and harmonica, Mary Ellen Simpson on lead guitar, and Diane Vitalich (also known as Diane Hursh) on drums. Other members associated with the band included Joe Allegra, Jerry Granelli, Noel Jewkes, and Lolly Lewis.
