**The Alarm Clocks** Formed in 1965 in Parma, OH, USA, The Alarm Clocks consisted of teenagers Mike Pierce (bass and vocals), Bruce Boehm (guitar), and Bill Schwark (drums). The band gained recognition from a single 45, featuring the tracks "Yeah!" and "No Reason to Complain," which they recorded live in a studio in 1966 and released on their own Awake label. Despite recording a live demo tape of their set at Sound Ideas Recording Studios, the group disbanded in 1967 without significant success. However, their single became a sought-after item among garage band collectors over the years. In 1996, both tracks appeared on the Back from the Grave compilation from Crypt Records, leading to the band members being located. The A and B sides of the single, along with the complete demo tape and three tracks from Boehm's earlier band, the Perceptions, were compiled into the album *Yeah!*, released by Norton Records in 2000. In 2006, sensing unfinished business, The Alarm Clocks re-formed with all original members and added a new guitarist, Tom Fallon. They recorded a new album in just two days at Freddy Fortune's basement studio in Michigan, which was released later that year as *The Time Has Come* by Norton Records.
