The Amorphous Androgynous is one of the most recognized aliases of the Future Sound of London. This name was used for their early-1990s album and for more recent releases in 2002, 2005, and 2008. The later psychedelic releases typically include a 'The' at the beginning of the name to distinguish them from the '90s electronic material. The liner notes for FSOL's album reference an Amorphous Androgynous album with a plain black cover, which, after 14 years of mystery, was eventually released under the FSOL name.
