The Amorphous Androgynous is one of the most well-known aliases of the Future Sound of London. This name was used for their early-1990s album as well as for more recent releases in 2002, 2005, and 2008. The later psychedelic releases typically add a 'The' to the name to distinguish them from the 1990s electronic material. The liner notes for FSOL's album mention an Amorphous Androgynous album with a plain black cover called, which, after 14 years of mystery, was finally released under the FSOL name.
