The Athenians were a pop/beat band hailing from Edinburgh, formed in late 1963. The group consisted of Ally Black on vocals and guitar, Keith Henderson on rhythm guitar, Ricky Alcorn on bass, and Arthur MacKay on drums. The band enjoyed a brief run in the music scene before disbanding in 1966.
