The Barons are an American vocal group hailing from New Orleans, Louisiana. The members of the group include Lloyd Shepard, Carl Matthews, Ronnie Robertson, Clement Smith, and James Youngblood. They are also sometimes spelled as The Barrons on a Super Dome Records 7" release. It is important to note that they should not be confused with another group from the 1950s.
