The Beat Club is a music project that originated in Miami in the late 1980s, created by producer Ony Rodriguez and his girlfriend, Mireya Valls, who provided vocals. Their track "Security," influenced by the Miami Bass sound, achieved enough success to secure a major label deal with Atlantic Records. Following this, they relocated to the UK and signed with Rob Gretton's new label, Rob's Records. The Beat Club has since remained a "faceless" studio project, evolving to showcase Ony's diverse styles and influences.
