The Beatmasters are a British producer trio who achieved significant success in the late 1980s and early 1990s. They gained recognition for producing Yazz's hit "Stand Up For Your Love Rights" in 1988 and scored several Top 20 hits under their own name with various guest vocalists, including The Cookie Crew ("Rok Da House"), Betty Boo ("Hey DJ / I Can't Dance (To That Music You're Playing)"), Merlin MC ("Who's in the House"), and P.P. Arnold ("Burn It Up"). These tracks were featured on their debut album, "Anywayawanna." Following their second album, "Life & Soul," released in 1991, The Beatmasters shifted their focus from their own recording career to production work and remixes for notable artists such as The Shamen, Moby, Erasure, Pet Shop Boys, and Marc Almond.
