The Blackstones are a UK-based vocal trio formed in 1974, known for their traditional reggae harmony style reminiscent of the roots era. The original members released several charting singles and a debut LP. By 1983, the lineup changed, leading to further success on the reggae charts and a critically acclaimed sophomore album. Over the years, the group underwent more lineup changes, continuing to release several albums, and became a quartet in 2019. Despite being overlooked since the Dancehall era, they have maintained a dedicated fan base that appreciates classic reggae sounds and continue to perform live to this day.
