The Blossoms were an American vocal group from California, originally known by a different name before they changed it. They replaced a member and became the lead vocalist. During the late 1950s and early 1960s, the group recorded under various names. Although they had their own recording career, they gained fame for recording the No. 1 hit "He's a Rebel," which producer Phil Spector credited to The Crystals. Additionally, they provided backing vocals for many of the biggest hits of the 1960s.
