The Blue Rondos were a British beat band based in North London, specifically Islington. Comprised mostly of seventeen-year-old teenagers, they recorded their discs at the legendary 304 Holloway Road music studios, under the guidance of renowned sound engineer and producer Joe Meek. The band members included Mickey Stubbs on vocals, rhythm guitar, and harmonica; Roger Hall on lead guitar; Billy Pitt-Jones on bass; Ray Sheene on drums; and John Tobin on keyboards.
