The Bob Boon Singers were a vocal ensemble established in 1963 by a BRT producer. For fifty years, they were a prominent choir in Flanders, known for their performances across radio, television, and stage, with a diverse repertoire that included classical arrangements and contemporary popular music. Their polished sound and versatility made them a significant part of Belgian musical life, collaborating with orchestras and featuring on numerous recordings. The group remained active until 2013, when they officially disbanded after half a century of performances. To preserve their legacy, the non-profit Zangtekoren VZW was founded to maintain the ensemble’s musical archive and discography.
