The Byrds were an influential American folk, psychedelic, and country rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1964. Throughout their career, they recorded 12 studio albums before disbanding in 1973. The band experienced several line-up changes, with the frontman and guitarist being the only constant member. In 1991, The Byrds were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, where the original five members performed together for the last time.
