The Chap is a British experimental pop band that was founded in 2000 in London. The band consists of members Keith Duncan, who plays drums, vocals, and keyboards; Panos Ghikas, who contributes bass, vocals, guitar, violin, computer, and keyboards; Claire Hope, who plays keyboards, vocals, and melodica; Berit Immig, who also plays keyboards and vocals; and Johannes von Weizsäcker, who handles guitar, vocals, cello, computer, and keyboards.
