The Checkerlads were a Canadian band based in Regina, Saskatchewan, active during the late 1960s. Formed in 1963, the group consisted of Arnie Sanns on lead vocals and bass, Bob Stevens on rhythm guitar, Larry Reich on lead guitar and harmony vocals, and an unnamed drummer. They later added organist Bob Edwards to their lineup. The band was managed by Joe Vargo.
