City Zu is a garage band formed in 1966 in Bellevue, Washington, a suburb of Seattle. The band was established by Jerry "Zu" Matheson and Brad Miller, and they remain active today, with Matheson as the sole founding member. The original lineup included Jerry "Zu" Matheson on saxophone, Brad Miller on rhythm/lead guitar, Doug Heath on lead guitar, Mike Garland on drums, Norm Langseth on bass, and John Lynch on keyboards, although Lynch was soon replaced by Charlie Harcus.
