The Clientele are a three-piece band formed in Hampshire in 1997, united by their love of various musical influences. Over time, the impact of 70s AM radio songwriters became evident in their sound, alongside a shared interest in minimalist arrangements and jazz chords and rhythms. Their music has been described as if it is beaming in from a long-wave radio on a late lonely night.
