The Cyrkle was a short-lived American rock-n-roll band that gained prominence in the mid-1960s, best known for their hit song "Red Rubber Ball," which reached #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1966. The band was discovered and managed by a notable figure, who also influenced the unique spelling of their name. Formed by guitarists and lead singers Tom Dawes and Don Dannemann, along with bassist Marty Fried, the group met while studying at Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania. The original lineup included Earl Pickens on keyboards and a drummer whose name is not specified.
