The Danleers were a short-lived doo-wop group from Brooklyn, NY, known for their hit song "One Summer Night." They were named after their manager and are considered a one-hit wonder. The original lineup included lead vocalist Jimmy Weston, who performed from 1958 to 1964 and again from 1972 to 1993 until his passing in June 1993. Other original members included Johnny Lee (first tenor), Willie Ephraim (second tenor), Nat McCune (baritone), and Roosevelt Mays (bass), all of whom were active from 1958 to 1959. In the early 1960s, Louis Williams replaced Johnny Lee as first tenor, while Doug Ebron and Terry Wilson took on second tenor and baritone roles, respectively, alongside bass Frankie Clemens. This lineup lasted until 1964. The group saw a revival in the 1970s with members Bill Carey (baritone) and Nat McCune returning until 1993. In 2012, Robert Mirra took over as lead vocalist, continuing the legacy of The Danleers.
