The Del Counts were a garage rock and R&B band based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, active from 1961 to 2023. They released several 45s on the Soma label and recorded a full-length LP that was never officially released. The band was led by Charles Schoen, who played keyboard and provided vocals, alongside members Steve Miller on guitar, Bob Phalen on bass, and drummers Del Leon LaFave and Kelly Vincent. The band's name originated from the original drummer's first moniker, which he used while counting off the intro to their songs.
