The Deverons were a Winnipeg band formed in 1962 by St. John's High School students Derek Blyck (also known as Derek Blake), Boris Pawluk, Edd Smith, and John Gach. The lineup later included Ron Savoie, Wayne Arnold, Don Gunter, Ken Birdini, and Craig Hamblin. They recorded music in both Winnipeg and Minneapolis. The band began to lose momentum after Cummings left at the end of 1965, leading to their eventual disbandment.
