The Dynamic Superiors were a soul and disco vocal quintet formed in 1963 in Washington, DC. Known for their refined harmony vocals, the group gained popularity with their openly gay lead vocalist, who often performed in drag. They released four albums in the mid-70s under Motown, with their biggest hit being the romantic sweet soul ballad "Shoe Shoe Shine." In 1980, they released their last album, "The Sky's The Limit," and shared some members with another group for a period of time.
