The Earons were a self-described 'Astro-Funk' band hailing from Earon Earth, which is actually Tampa Bay, Florida. The group members were identified by numbers rather than names: .28 (Henry Pizzicarola, vocals), .22 (Percival Prince, guitar), .33 (Kevin Nance, keyboards), .69 (Melvin Lee, bass), and .18 (Lonnie Ferguson, drums). On November 21, 2008, the band re-emerged with a new official website, announcing that they were still "here on Earth." They released four new songs: "Future," "Written in America," "Numbers and Wires" (with lyrics by Frank Venditti), and "Juliana's Cloth" (also with lyrics by Frank Venditti), alongside a video for "Land of Hunger."
