The Enchantments were a 60's rhythm 'n' blues band hailing from the Lincoln Heights district of Los Angeles. The group featured Eddie Serrano on vocals, Steve Lopez on lead guitar, Bobby Brambila on rhythm guitar, Larry Torres on bass, Tom Lawrence on organ, Frankie Lee on drums, and a brass section that included Ray Oliande and Gil Perez on saxophones, along with John Madrid on trumpet. Like many Eastside bands of their time, The Enchantments eventually disbanded due to military obligations and the Vietnam War.
