The Fantastic Four was a soul group from Detroit, Michigan, formed in 1965. The original line-up included Wallace 'Toby' Childs, James Epps, and brothers Joseph and Ralph Pruitt. Over the years, the group experienced significant changes in their line-up. Their third single, "The Whole World Is a Stage" (1967), featured a B-side that became their biggest pop hit. After a brief period, they were signed to a label where they released five albums in the 1970s.
